There are two ways to pay

You can choose Pay now, where your one-off fee is payable once you choose to instruct us.

With this option, you have the choice to use your own conveyancers, or can take advantage of our third party conveyancing partner, without paying an admin fee.

Or you can choose Pay later, where your one-off fee is payable once your house is sold, or up to 10 months after you instruct - whichever is sooner.

With this option, if you want to use your preferred conveyancing service instead of our third party conveyancing partner, an admin fee is payable.

With both options, the fee is payable whether or not you sell your property.

Or you can choose Pay later with conveyancing, where your one-off fee is payable once your house is sold, or up to 10 months after you instruct - whichever is sooner.

With this option, you will use our third party conveyancing partner.

Key facts

  • To get your property on the market, the only additional cost to our fixed fee depends on whether you want us to undertake the viewings or require an Energy Performance Certificate (a legal obligation to market your property).
  • The deferred payment:
    • is provided by Purplebricks
    • you are not entering into any form of credit agreement
    • you will not pay interest
    • When your payment becomes due, it will be collected by Purplebricks Payment Services* via your conveyancing lawyer upon completion of your sale or from the card details provided by you
  • If you defer payment, payment is due to be paid when any of the following occurs, whichever happens first:
    • when the property sells and the legal process is complete
    • ten months pass since the date you instructed
    • If you withdraw your property from the market
    • If you decide to use your preferred conveyancing service instead of our third party conveyancing partner after you have already instructed us, an admin fee of £360 is payable if you still want to defer the payment for instruction. Alternatively, you can choose to pay the full instruction fee upfront instead in order to avoid paying the admin fee.
